Who is Erich Kron?

Erich Kron is a Security Awareness Advocate at KnowBe4, author, podcast host, and regular contributor to cybersecurity industry publications and television news organizations. He is a veteran information security professional with over 25 years’ experience in the medical, aerospace manufacturing and defense fields. Erich is the former security manager for the US Army’s 2nd Regional Cyber Center and holds CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, SACP and many other certifications.

Erich is a prominent cybersecurity speaker and has spoken at conferences across the United States, Mexico, Canada and Europe. He specializes in social engineering threats, ransomware defense and cyber fraud issues.
